I have been an Audible member for over 20 years. I have tried to get an answer to this question more than once through chat and by being transferred to an agent.
Chat could not respond, and the agent would either put me on hold, not connect, and eventually, the call would be dropped. I am not available to call during the day, and calling at midnight is not something I relish doing. My inquiry is very simple - I find virtual voice deplorable. I know several (former) members who have chosen to cancel their membership and switch to another service due to the increased number of books that are only available via virtual voice, and I do not want to take the same route given my long history with Audible.
What I would like, however, is to eliminate the virtual voice books from the lists of titles when I do a search for a book to purchase, be it a new release, a book which is coming soon, or another title so I do not have to scroll through pages of books I will never listen to in order to get to a decreasing number of books I will listen to. How do I eliminate virtual voice from my searches?
And if that is not possible, is there a way Audible can make that an option for those of us, and again I am one of a number of people I have spoken to, who find virtual voice like the sound of a fingernail on a chalkboard and would rather not listen to a book than listen to a book read by virtual voice?

Preferred solution: Virtual voice audiobooks excl frm books to purchase .If audible uses virtual voice v books by narrators to save $ it's their choice but I shld have option of not having them incl & waste time scrolling thru them

Hi I'm Dennis Johansen my bank account shows Audible took $24 from my bank account I do NOT have a Audible account and I've NEVER used Audible I WANT my $24 back NOW! I'm going to report this to the police! Please REPLY asap

I signed up to get a book during a free trial offer. I didn't want to continue membership.
I have not taken advantage of any of the services and I've been billed approximately 6 to 7 months for books. I'm not reading.

Audible has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are unable to solve problems and unable to escalate an issue.
I got a new phone and am locked out of my audible account that I have had for 15 years. Audible customer service cannot find my account.
I have made 12 calls to customer service over 5 days with no resolution and no escalation. I cannot even get them to cancel my billing because they can't find my account.

Audible charges for services I’m not using
Signed up for services for free didnt want to continue the services. I have tried postponing and cancelling numerous times and Ive been billed for approximately 8 to 9 months of services.
Im not using.

My brother passed away and I would like to take over his audible account . So I called to get information on how to accomplish this .your representative said she would send me the information but all I got was a survey request.

Calling to find out why my account was canceled
I had nine credits and my account was canceled for some reason. I went to pick an audiobook and it said I was no longer remember. Im having great difficulty trying to get in touch with someone to find out whats going on with my account.

Hi Audible Support Team,
Please help me - I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition for my friend who has lost his sight and wanted to have him be able to listen to Audible Books.
I have been reading Kindles for several years and thoroughly enjoy the readable books.
I am however completely lost when it comes to Audible Books - I have managed to download some books in Audible format but some books purchased and downloaded as Audible Books have downloaded as reading books, obviously no good for a blind person!
Some books dont download at all - I have some downloaded books (Audible) on my home computer but do not know how to get them onto my friends Kindle, there does not appear to be a choice where to send them.
There is also confusion as all of my readable books have been loaded onto my friends Kindle.
What I would like to happen (in a perfect world) is to delete all of the books on my friends Kindle - reader and Audible - and only have the (as yet not downloaded) Audible books downloaded onto his Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.
I am 80 years old and not computer literate - nor can I type fast enough to communicate via your chat channel.
I am based in South Africa and would be happy to talk to someone on WhatsApp to assist me.
Therefore my questions are:-
1. Can I talk to someone on WhatsApp and if so the number please?
2.
What information can I email you to identify the Audible Books that I have purchased that are not yet on my friends Kindle and the ones that have downloaded as reading books?
3. Is it possible for you to download the books in 2 above, directly to my friends Kindle, plus delete his current books on his device if I send you the ID numbers and name on his Kindle?

She was wonderful. Audible was taking $14.95 out of my discover card twice a week for months.
I couldn't figure it out and why and I told my Daughter about it. I am 83 and live with my Daughter so she called Audible and I had two accounts because one of the emails was wrong. My email is wattsbl2@***.com and the wrong one was wattsbl3@***.com.

Wanted to find out what happens if I suspend or cancel. Do I get a refund for credits not used. Can I keep what I paid for?
What happens is I cancel any more I have 3 credits I paid for and books bought but not read yet. Can I still see the books I bought if I csncel?

I bought this book over a year ago. I had tried to read it, but just can't get into it.
I asked the agent whether I could have another book. Instead, he wasted my time talking about removing the book to save space or to use a credit I had!
The agent thought it was funny. He needs to go on a customer training course!
