I recently saw exorbitant charges on my bank statement by audible and amazon prime.

On investigating this, I went to the membership page and hit cancel and lo and behold, it says you do not have a membership to cancel!!!

So WHAT are they billing me for?

I live in South Africa, so you can imagine these costs taking the exchange rate into account.

My bank here will investigate this but I will be charged more to cancel the transactions than the amount Audible and Amazon billed me for!!!

So once again, the consumer loses against these dodgy corporations!!!

Shocking to say the least!!!:

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Unauthorized charging to my credit card.

Given where you live, perhaps this is the incentive you have to get away while you can---Australia is looking the best option.
